Hello! My name is Colin Crook. I am a current freshman and am seeking office on the SORF Board. I currently major in Political Science and plan to add a History major and Secondary Education Minor. I have a passion for politics and student government so I would make for an active and passionate member of the SORF Board. I also have a passion for music, theater, and education. This adds both some vibrancy to my life as well as a deeper connection to the student body. My primary focus for my time in office will be on maintaining and improving the academic life of UIUC Students as well as promoting and invigorating school pride and spirit. I am always open to new ideas and love to seek new perspectives on important issues facing the everyday lives of UIUC students. The SORF Board is often a critically underappreciated board despite its important function. In addition to school pride and academic success, I hope to contribute a fresh and appreciative perspective to the SORF Board to ensure the fair and equitable funding of the RSOs that keep our campus lively and vibrant.
